Importing Prospects

How to add prospects to a campaign using CSV upload, Salesforce, or HubSpot.

When you create a campaign, you need to add the prospects your reps will record videos for. Vidgram supports three import methods: CSV upload, Salesforce, and HubSpot.

CSV upload

CSV is the fastest way to get started. You don't need any CRM connected.

Required column

Your CSV must include a column with LinkedIn profile URLs. The header can be any of these:

  • linkedin_url
  • linkedin
  • url
  • profile_url

Any header containing the word "linkedin" will also work.

Optional columns

You can include additional columns to enrich the prospect data:

ColumnAccepted headers
Namename, first_name, full_name, firstname
Job titletitle, job_title, position
Companycompany, company_name, organization

The importer auto-detects these columns from your headers. You don't need to map them manually.

Example CSV

linkedin_url,name,title,company
https://linkedin.com/in/sarah-chen,Sarah Chen,VP of Sales,Acme Corp
https://linkedin.com/in/mike-johnson,Mike Johnson,Head of Revenue,Globex Inc

Limits

  • Maximum 200 prospects per campaign
  • At least one data row is required (header + 1 row minimum)
  • Rows without a LinkedIn URL are skipped

Salesforce import

If your team has connected Salesforce, you can pull prospects directly from your CRM.

Available sources

  • Leads -- Search and import from your Salesforce Leads
  • Contacts -- Search and import from your Salesforce Contacts
  • Campaign Members -- Select a Salesforce Campaign and import its members (leads and contacts)
  • List Views -- Pick from your saved Lead or Contact list views in Salesforce

How to import from Salesforce

  1. On the campaign creation form, select the Salesforce tab.
  2. Choose your source type (Leads, Contacts, Campaign Members, or List View).
  3. For Leads and Contacts, enter a search term and click the search button.
  4. For Campaign Members, browse your Salesforce Campaigns and select one.
  5. For List Views, choose whether you want Lead or Contact views, then pick a view from the dropdown.
  6. Review the results. Each prospect shows their name, title, company, and LinkedIn URL (if available in Salesforce).
  7. Select the prospects you want to include using the checkboxes.

HubSpot import

If your team has connected HubSpot, you can import contacts and lists.

Available sources

  • Contacts -- Search your HubSpot contacts
  • Lists -- Pick from your HubSpot lists

How to import from HubSpot

  1. On the campaign creation form, select the HubSpot tab.
  2. Choose your source type (Contacts or Lists).
  3. Search or browse, then select the prospects you want.

Deduplication

Vidgram prevents duplicate prospects within a campaign. When you import prospects, the system checks for matches in this order:

  1. LinkedIn URL -- If a prospect's LinkedIn URL already exists in the campaign, they're skipped.
  2. Email -- If no LinkedIn match is found, it checks by email address.

This means you can import from multiple sources without worrying about adding the same person twice.

What happens after import

Once your prospects are imported and you create the campaign:

  • Scripts are generated for each prospect based on your messaging configuration
  • The campaign appears in the Chrome extension when reps visit prospect LinkedIn profiles
  • Reps can start recording and sending videos right away
