Install the Chrome Extension

Get the Vidgram Chrome extension installed and ready to use in under two minutes.

The Chrome extension is how you use Vidgram on LinkedIn. It opens a side panel where you generate scripts, record videos, and send them to prospects. Here's how to get it set up.

Install the extension

Your workspace owner will send you a Vidgram extension install package (a .zip file). Vidgram is distributed privately to your team rather than through the Chrome Web Store.

  1. Save the .zip file somewhere you won't move it (e.g. your Documents folder) and unzip it.
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions.
  3. Toggle Developer mode on in the top right corner.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.

Chrome installs the extension and a small Vidgram icon appears in your toolbar.

Pin the extension to your toolbar

By default, Chrome might hide the Vidgram icon behind the puzzle piece menu. Pin it so it's always visible:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon in your Chrome toolbar (top right).
  2. Find Vidgram in the list.
  3. Click the pin icon next to it.

The Vidgram icon now stays in your toolbar, one click away whenever you need it.

Sign in to your account

  1. Click the Vidgram icon in your toolbar.
  2. Enter the email and password you used to create your Vidgram account.
  3. Click Sign In.

If you see "No team account found. Please contact your admin", your email isn't attached to an active Vidgram workspace yet. Ask your admin to invite you from the Members page, then sign in again.

Verify it's working

Once you're signed in, go to any LinkedIn profile. Click the Vidgram icon -- you should see the side panel open with the prospect's name and details pulled from their profile.

The extension auto-activates on LinkedIn pages. Whenever you're on LinkedIn, the side panel is ready to go when you click the icon.

Browser compatibility

The extension is built for Google Chrome and that's what we recommend. It also works in Chromium-based browsers like Brave, Arc, and Microsoft Edge, though your experience may vary.

It does not work in Firefox or Safari.

Works with any LinkedIn plan

You don't need LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator. The extension works with:

  • LinkedIn Free
  • LinkedIn Premium
  • Sales Navigator
  • Recruiter

The features are the same regardless of which LinkedIn plan you're on.
